Run ahead, utilize your 8GB pen drive. Windows ReadyBoost can use storage space on some removable media devices, such as USB flash drives, to speed up your computer. When you insert a compatible device, the AutoPlay dialog box will offer you the option to speed up your system using Windows ReadyBoost. The functioning of ReadyBoost in Windows 7 is exactly the same as in Windows Vista as explained here.

Follow these very simple steps to ensure things going well.

1. Plug a flash drive or other removable media device into your computer. This should automatically open AutoPlay.If AutoPlay does not open, it might have been disabled. Visit control panel

Note : I recommend making a copy of you "Boot.ini" first, just in case you do something wrong and your window is not booting, restart and when your pc is in post(the black screen) press F8 and boot in safe mode, and replace the "Boot.ini" with your backup of "Boot.ini" and it should get back to its former state.

Remove Wgatray.exe

Official method by Microsoft
First Method
1.Launch Windows Task manager
2.End wgatray.exe process i task manager
3.Restart Windows XP in safe mode
4.Delete Wgatray.exe from c:\windows\system32.
5.Delete Wgatray.exe from c:\windows\system32\dllcache
6.Lauch RegEdit
7.Browse to the following location:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version\Winlogon\Notify
